The recording of the latest webinar presented by Mathieu Payeur is now available on Youtube.
Pôle e3c is pleased to present a seminar with Mathieu Payeur, Director of the Bureau du développement de l’hydrogène vert et des bioénergies (BDHVB) of the Ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie du Québec (MEIE).
The presentation will focus on the role of green hydrogen and bioenergy in achieving carbon neutrality. Over the past 15 years, Mr. Payeur has held various positions in the Quebec government in the field of energy efficiency and energy transition. Initially in charge of the commercial sector, he was appointed team leader in 2012 before taking over as head of partnerships and then energy strategies at Transition énergétique Québec.
An engineer by training, Mr. Payeur is as interested in issues affecting energy systems as a whole as he is in standards and regulatory approaches. Since December 2021, he has headed the Bureau du développement de l’hydrogène vert et des bioénergies, which is actively working on stakeholder consultation, strategic positioning and the deployment of these sectors, in complementarity with energy efficiency and direct electrification. The aim of this conference is not only to clarify the Quebec government’s vision for the development of green hydrogen and bioenergy sectors, but also to provide an opportunity for the public to express their views on the subject.
